Coming back home i’ve seen the object represented in the photo. What you can’t see is the base, two brilliant tube. At first time i’ seen it by the side, far, and without glasses. I’ve thought something like oh wow, maybe a touchscreen computer to trace a way with public transport? The expo time is really arrived.
Uhm, no, it can’t be a touch station. Maybe a simple map of metro? No, it doesn’t…It’s empty.
Maybe that one day it will contains a touch pc and we will have a real innovation…

oggi mi sono imbattuto in questo aggeggio che si vede nella foto.
L’ho visto inizialmente di lato. Cio che non si vede e’ la struttura portante: due bei tuboni cromati. senza occhiali da lontano mi sono detto qualcosa tipo oh wow, l’expo inizia a produrre frutti. Sara’ un pannello touch per interrogare il sito atm e calcolare i percorsi?
Poi mi sono avvicinato, no, niente schermo. Allora forse c’e’ una mappa del metro. Niente. Nel senso di niente proprio. Un giorno forse ci sara’ un touch screen e sara’ una vera innovazione.

Write is hard – Scrivere non e’ per niente facile

Write isn’t easy. Absolutely. You think ‘perfect, i’ve subscripted blog-web address-forum-etc. , now i can start write’. Well. When? I mean, i don’t thinking about what write, everyone has his arguments. I’m thinking to who, like me, has an normal office job and too much work to do to think about his site. and also is not so
brave to sleep just 4 or 5 hours by night. More: a family, maybe with dog and cat. I think that this situation is the most present between who use internet. I’ve win the time in public transport during the way to office and return with a mobile phone with a qwerty panel (i don’t know the traslation of tastiera). But the other? Some example in the middle of situation to explain who don’t have these problems. 2 hours for transport to job and return. 10 hours in office -thinking lunch, coffee and other breaks. 2 hours cooking, dinner, washing. 2 hours go to park with dog-play with child. Then some times for the daughter (i’m lucky to have known her). 8 hours to wake-up. download e-mail, trah the junk-mail, reed newsletter, check information sites.one hour goes.How many time to sleep? 30 minutes? When I can write?!? Write isn’t simple.

Scrivere non e’ per niente facile.Si pensa ‘ecco, ho aperto il blog-sito-utente-etc. cosi ora posso scrivere.’ Gia’ e poi? Poi, chiunque abbia lavori che non implichino stare sul web e non abbia una mostruosa resistenza alla mancanza di sonno si deve arrangiare. non sto pensando a cosa scrivere, ognuno trova i propri argomenti, ma al quando. Io ho risolto con un cellulare con tastiera estesa: nei trasferimenti casa-ufficio mi faccio venire i crampi ai pollici e scrivo. e gli altri, molti suppongo, che sono impiegati e hanno famiglia? Due conticini veloci per chi, sotto questo aspetto, e’ + fortunato e trova il tempo. 2 ore al giorno per i trasferimenti casa-ufficio, ufficio-casa. 10 ore sul posto di lavoro -pasti e cinciaschiamenti vari inclusi. 2 ore cucina-cena-doccia.2 ore porta fuori il cane-gioca con il figlio-dai retta alla moglie che esisto pure io (meno male) com’e’ andata la giornata. restano otto ore. accendo il pc, scarico la posta, butto lo spam, leggo quel che serve, faccio un giro per news e interessi vari, altra ora che se ne va.siamo a sette.quanto ci si mette ad addormentarsi? mezz’ora? siamo vicini al limite di ore di sonno. Mica facile scrivere.

Firefox 3.0 – Non solo un browser – Not only a browser

Oggi la community di mozilla ha raggiunto un risultato eclatante: ha raccolto, in un’unica grande azione, gli utenti da tutto il mondo. Non solo, erano tutti utenti windows, credo (e forse mac, questo non lo so). da escludere quindi l’utenza linux, piu’ legata a questo browser, che ha avuto la possibilita di provarlo con qualche giorno di anticipo. L’ultima volta che ho controllato il counter del sito il conteggio sfiorava i 7 milioni. La scusa? un guinness, parola fica questa, anzi cool. e’ comunicazione di massa e deve essere costato parecchio lavoro. Penso al solo coordinamento di centinaia di paesi per cui seguire la localizzazione. Firefox 3.0? questa e’ community 3.0 . Un certo steve (jobs), che ne capisce molto di cose belle e di coinvolgimento, da qui avra’ qualcosa su cui riflettere. Un altro steve (ballmer) credo che prendera’ atto del successo e poco altro. Non credo uno sia meglio dell’altro, credo che abbiano ruoli diversi e, seguendo i loro ruoli, si comporteranno cosi.  poi c’e'la comunita’ open e gli utenti smaliziati che hanno partecipato per dimostrare che ci sono o che, semplicemente, hanno voglia di novita’ . E il resto del mondo non so se si rendera’ conto di che succede: qualche articolo, forse dei servizi tv, poi il solito noioso oblio. Ma qui si parla di mozilla la cui esperienza andra’ oltre al guinness, ai download e agli articoletti. Ora ha un sincero dato di utenza attenta, sa chi c’e’ davvero. E puo’ fare progetti.

Today mozilla community had gain a big results: they take, in just one action, users all around the world. Also, everyone was windows user,  i think (and apple? maybe yes). Linux-users, that use normally this browser, have could use for some day before and i don’t think that could partecipate. At last time that i’ve see the official counter it was 7 millions downloads. The reason was a guinness world record. I think about the jobs, the enormous work of coordination for hundreds country. Firefox 3.0? this is community 3.0 . a steve (jobs i mean), that know very well about design and involvement, i think that will consider a lot about this action . Another steve (ballmer at this time) i think that understant this succes and will go on. I don’t think that one is better than another, simply they represent two different position in world market. And the last but not the least there is open-community and the smart users to demostrate that they are there or, just simply, would a good new thing. I’m not sure if the rest of the world will understand the real meaning of this result: some news on newspaper or television, then the common nothing. Here we spokes about mozilla community that the experience will be beyond the record, downloads and articles. Now the community had at his disposal a honest information about the real focused users, knows who are there. And can do plans.
